One of Marvel’s best couples may not technically be together anymore, though fans are still hoping to see Black Panther and Storm reunite in the future. Both heroes were experienced leaders of both the Avengers and the X-Men, making them a power couple. Both heroes have proven their mettle in battle both separately and together.
T’Challa won a trial by combat to win the Black Panther title and the throne of Wakanda. Storm won her own lawsuits against mutants like Callisto and Cyclops for leadership of the Morlocks and X-Men. They also temporarily served as members of the Fantastic Four to further show off their skills together.

Hawkeye and Mockingbird are another Marvel couple who didn’t end up staying together. Both Clint Barton and Bobbi Morse were highly trained SHIELD agents who found love after developing their costumed identities.
Bobbi Morse’s first assignment as the Mockingbird paired her with Hawkeye, and they were married soon after. Their training allowed them to fight well together and they could hold their own against most overpowered threats. The duo had a quick romance that developed during their time as members of the West Coast Avengers, though that pretty much ended.

Scott Summers and Jean Gray were two of the founding members of the X-Men. They joined Professor Xavier’s team of mutants and began training with their abilities as teenagers. They honed their combat skills in one of Marvel’s most advanced training facilities, the Danger Room.
Romance blossomed between Cyclops and Marvel Girl, and they developed a close psychic rapport that further connected them. This allowed them to work even better in tense situations, which further amplified their years of training together. Cyclops and Jean Gray are well-oiled fighting machines who can rely on each other to defend themselves in battle.

Elektra took on the role of Daredevil to keep Hell’s Kitchen safe. Their romance was rekindled, and Elektra’s newfound drive for heroism brought them closer than ever. They both currently operate as Daredevil, battling against the ninja clan known as the Hand. Their incredible fighting abilities make them a tough Marvel couple to beat.
