A vet has revealed that one of Korea’s famous celebrities declawed her cat to protect her face.
On January 20, a veterinarian and a YouTuber revealed that he once met a well-known celebrity who declawed his cat to stop him from scratching his face. Declawing is a surgical process of amputating a cat’s knuckles where its claws grow.
He said declawed cats experience extreme pain during recovery from surgery and become sensitive as they have lost their protective measures. He added that this amounts to mistreating the cat. Many netizens expressed their anger in the comments and said that he should expose the name of said celebrity.
