Hi, I’m Lillian, a feisty, playful girl with an extra spring in my step! I have a great personality, so I will need an adopter who will help me express myself in a positive way. I’m unsure about new people and will need an experienced adopter who ideally has worked with a “stranger danger” before. Once I become friends with someone, I am a friend for life and I will show them nothing but love and loyalty! I’m super athletic and would like an active home. Visit the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society (Berkeley Humane) website at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

Introducing Calvin! This little guy, a neutered 2-year-old male Chihuahua, loves to run and explore the world. He is always keen to go for a walk and would make a great running or hiking companion, and his joy of exploring the outdoors would certainly lift his spirits during a particularly strenuous trek! Calvin is a friendly boy who is happy to greet people, but is also very comfortable doing his own thing. Looking for a confident pint-sized buddy to put a smile on your face? The East Bay SPCA (EBSPCA) offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Come meet Calvin in Dublin. For up-to-date, real-time information on EBSPCA programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/online adoptions.

All Otis wants for the New Year is a house. In February, he will be at our shelter for two years.
Now 8 years old, Otis has grown into a sweet old soul looking for a quiet home without other pets or children. He walks easily on a leash and likes to explore. He would make a great companion for a homemaker who would like to look up and see a smiling face and big brown eyes. At 1590 Fortmann Way in Alameda, we will be open from noon to 2 p.m. on New Years Eve, so stop by and take Otis for a walk along the marina with one of our volunteers. We guarantee you will fall in love. To meet handsome Otis at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS), call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt online.

Hi, we are a 5 month old sister and brother, Lila and Leo. He’s got the most white fur, and I’m the little one with the most black. We bicker to know who is the prettiest but we have fun. I like to play with my brother and with toys too. Mice will do, but these shiny crinkle balls of foil will do too. I think he’s a scary big cat, he thinks I’m shy. Maybe you can decide. For more information on Lila, Leo or any other adoptable animals with the Contra Costa (CCSPCA), call Pat at 925-323-0667.
