Auction to find owners of cat found in Glasgow park


A CALL has been launched for the owners of a cat found in a park in Glasgow.

A member of the public discovered the black and white animal in Mount Vernon Park on the afternoon of November 25.

They alerted the SSPCA.

Lara Vickery, chief inspector for the Scottish SPCA, said: “The cat was found in the park and taken to the local vet.

Glasgow hours:

“He was unfortunately not microchipped but was in good condition.

“The cat has been spayed and has clearly been groomed and we’re sure someone misses him.

“The cat is in the care of our Glasgow Animal Rescue and Repatriation Centre, and we are keen to return this feline directly to its owners.
