New Delhi, 2nd December 2022: On Thursday, 1st December, the Common Admission Test (CAT) Candidate Answer Sheet was released. CAT 2022 took place on November 27. The number of candidates who passed the exam was 2,22,184. Candidate answer sheet is available at iimcat.ac.in
Because the CAT 2022 exam was administered in three shifts with varying degrees of difficulty for each shift, the administering organization used a standardization process to determine percentile scores.
Applicants will be able to determine their 2022 CAT ranks using their CAT percentile score. The candidate’s standing with other candidates who took the CAT is indicated by their CAT percentile. However, applicants must know the total number of applicants and the normalized CAT score to calculate the CAT 2022 percentile.
Follow the steps given to calculate the CAT percentile:
1. Determine the total number of candidates for the three CAT 2022 teams
2. Using scaled or normalized score to assign rankings
3. [(Number of Aspirants – Rank)/Number of Aspirants] x 100 is used to calculate percentile scores.
4. To two decimal places, round the calculated CAT 2022 percentile score.
The CAT 2022 percentile score represents the proportion of applicants who scored at or below this percentile on the admissions test. The percentile score will be used for the CAT 2022 Admissions Test in place of the candidate’s scores as the normalized score, and it will be used to create the CAT 2022 Merit Lists.
