Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion features an incredible cat tree modeled after a Mako Reactor to celebrate the release of the action RPG.
The release of the action RPG Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion arrived just recently, and to celebrate the launch, an amazing-looking cat tree has been created based on the series’ iconic Mako Reactors. One of the best-known structures in Final Fantasy 7 universe, members of the gaming community will likely appreciate the Mako Reactor Cat Tree, especially those who love the feline species.
Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is one of the most anticipated titles that Square Enix has released in 2022. Fans have been waiting for the action RPG to launch ever since it was announced last June this year, during the celebration stream of Final Fantasy 725th anniversary. Since then, Square Enix has released information about the game and now, after its launch, new marketing efforts are being made to boost fans’ excitement. These efforts even include the production of a Buster Sword Christmas tree and now this cat tree modeled after a Mako Reactor.
Over on PlayStation’s Japanese Twitter account, the team celebrated the release of Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion alongside Square Enix by posting a video of the Mako Reactor cat tree. In the video, footage of the cat tree was intercut with actual cut-outs of the in-game structure. According to Google Translate, the legend that Mako Reactor players can see in-game has been overrun by cats. And it’s true, the video shows the cat tree being explored and used by several active felines.
Unfortunately, PlayStation Japan did not identify any other accounts on the post. This means fans have no way of knowing who made the cat tree or if the production team will sell the item in furniture. However, at the time of writing, the post already has over 7,300 likes and 3,200 retweets, indicating how much fans loved the Final Fantasy 7 Mako Reactor cat tree. Some fans even responded with photos of the pets, commenting that they would love to have a Mako Reactor cat tree for their feline companions.
It’s only been less than a week since Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion was released, and fans are probably still aware of the action-RPG hype. Still, seeing Square Enix and its partners, like PlayStation, churning out gaming-relevant promotional campaigns for the enjoyment of its community is probably very welcome. Hopefully the team has more exciting material to share in the days ahead.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is now available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
