Doja encourages talking about insecurities. “Growing up, I definitely had body dysmorphia. Definitely. And I’ve had it ever since,” she said. I started to really grow up and I never really thought I looked good in a lot things I wore.” However, she tries to keep herself healthy. “Now I just try to focus on eating well, but I’m still struggling a bit with body dysmorphia now. In one instagram live session, Doja admitted that she was not always in exercise. “Before, it was rehearsals for awards shows,” she said. Doja believes being authentic is crucial for mental health. “I don’t need to be like anyone but myself,” she told Crack. “It sounds so corny, but there were times when I felt like a baby duck, just doing what the mama duck did. I took my own leap of faith. When I’m natural, people really [mess] with me.”
Doja divides her workouts by body parts, she revealed during her Instagram Live. On arm days, she does a lot of weightlifting, including four sets of shoulder presses and bicep curls. “I’ve always had noodle arms, my whole life,” she revealed. During lower body exercises, she does jump squats and kettlebell exercises. “I love doing squats,” she said. “I don’t know why, but my lower half reacts a lot, and you can see it immediately.”
Doja makes sure to get enough sleep, saying it helps boost her brain power and sex life. “I also have an IQ of 560 because of it,” she wrote. According to Sleep Foundation, getting enough z is also a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and helps with weight loss.
