Shop volunteers have a vital role to play, acting as the public face of the charity. From window dressing and visual merchandising to inventory hauling and customer service, there are plenty of roles available for anyone looking to learn new skills, meet new people, and help cats in the process.
The shop at 37 Printing Office Street supports the work of Cats Protection by giving homeless cats and kittens a second chance by finding them loving homes; as well as providing support to cat owners through subsidized sterilization and microchipping.
Store manager Ange Walch said: “We want to attract cat-loving volunteers to join a store team where there is always plenty to do and no two days are the same.”
