Morti’s Used Book Nook and Cat Adoption Lounge, a delightfully warm and fuzzy non-profit thrift store located in the Petaluma Village Premium Outlets, is hosting a two-day fundraiser this weekend (December 17-18) to help pay for a new ventilation system inside the popular ‘Cat Lounge.’
On Saturday, December 17, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., a bake sale in front of the store will offer all kinds of treats and donation-based gift wraps will be offered to those who want their Christmas gifts to be pleasantly scented. -up for the holidays. On Sunday, December 18, in addition to gift wrapping, visitors are invited to make an ornament for their own tree at home.
On both days, from 2-3 p.m., a family story-reading session with shop volunteers will provide an extra dose of seasonal fun.
And of course, everyone is welcome to come and pet the cats.
Morti’s is a project of Petaluma Pet Pals, a 501c3 non-profit organization established in 1998 by a group of dedicated animal lovers who wanted to make a real difference for pets and the people who love them.
