Have you spotted a big black cat in the North Lynn area?
The cat has been missing for more than six days and the owners say it’s unusual that he didn’t return home that evening.
He was described as a “massive but not overweight” all-black cat with green eyes, wearing an engraved paw pendant on a black and white cow print collar.
The owners of the male cat recently moved to Grange Estate in North Lynn. They think their cat may have moved back to their old home in West Lynn.
Owner Emily Penman-Lee said: “We moved here recently from West Lynn so it’s also possible he’s gone home or tried to and is on his way so he could even be in South Lynn or downtown.
“He’s a real explorer so he really could be anywhere now. But he very rarely comes home in the evenings and has never been away for more than two nights. We’re now into day six without him.”

Emily would prefer not to post the cat’s name, but said he was responding to a whistle.
She added: “Most importantly, we believe he is alive and well, but we assume he has wandered too far away and cannot find his way back.
“He’s a big boy and clearly well groomed with a collar, so most people wouldn’t even guess he was a missing cat.”
