The Jacksonville Jaguars are back home at TIAA Bank Field and will face a red hot New York Giants (+3.5) Sunday team. The Jaguars are in the middle of a three game losing streak and on paper it might look like the 5-1 Giants could be the team to push that streak to four in a row.
While the Giants are 5-1 so far this season, it’s an ugly 5-1 and they’ve kind of exceeded expectations so far and should probably suffer a setback. As our own Gus Logue detailedshowing that the Giants were actually very lucky in the fourth quarter, while the Jaguars were apparently a bit unlucky.
The reality is that it all comes down to the Giants winning their close games while the Jaguars don’t, but that also tells us that the Jaguars have seemingly been the better team for the first three quarters.
On your marks… get set… let’s go!
Here’s everything you need to know to watch, listen to or follow today’s Jaguars game.
It’s time for the live blog…
3:15 p.m.: IN YOUR FACE, NEW YORK.
3:11 p.m.: Legitimate brutality of the passer’s penalty. The Jaguars agree with the referees. I am sick.
3:10 p.m.: The Jaguars defense with a chance to force a turnover and…
2:56 p.m.: TRAVIS ETIENNE.
2:42 p.m.: Replay shows Zay Jones almost had it. Gracious kindness.
2:40 p.m.: Trevor Lawrence just threw it absolutely out of the end zone on that Hail Mary.
2:25 p.m.: The advertisers just said the word “completely” because it’s a Jaguars game and English has Nope place here.
2:20 p.m.: Saquon Barkley with a really good Fred Taylor impersonation right there.
2:17 p.m.: No comment.
2:10 p.m.: And then there’s this.
2:09 p.m.: WHAT A JET.
2:07 p.m.: Trevor Lawrence stepped forward as if he wanted to throw it 70 yards downfield and opted for the short throw just beyond the sticks instead. Growth >>>>>
1:49 p.m.: Riley Patterson is 11-7 in the most 1930s NFL score of the afternoon so far.
1:20 p.m.: I really don’t understand how a five yard penalty on the extra point attempt gets us to the two yard line, but I’ll take that extra point. Jaguars up 8-7.
1:19 p.m.: Write it down, folks – Travis Etienne started his Hall of Fame career with his first touchdown at Duval.
1:08 p.m.: Giants start with the score. DON’T MUST.
1:02 p.m.: The Jaguars start on defense. LET’S GO.
11:32 a.m.: The only “surprise” on the inactive roster is Adam Gotsis. I would have liked to see Jamal Agnew today stretching the Giants defense.
#Jaguars inactive against giants:
24 RB Snoop Conner
26 CB Shaquill Griffin
27 S Tyree Gillespie
39 WR Jamal Agnew
96 DL Adam Gotsis
Gotsis is a healthy scratch this week. Agnew and Griffin are out as scheduled with knee and back injuries, respectively.

6:29 a.m.: This week’s TV coverage map for the Jaguars vs Giants game on FOX. (We are in the blue…)
6:00 AM: Yes, we linked it above, but it’s still a great primer for today’s play from Gus Logue.
