33-year-old College Piece man Mortimer is accused of threatening Fiona Nelson to kill her cat and damage a trampoline belonging to her.

He is also accused of having harassed her and made her fear violence by contacting her more than 100 times by telephone, making her threats.

The above offenses were allegedly committed in Mortimer on various dates between Monday 12th September and Thursday 13th October.

Mr Hearn, who was legally represented by Gianpaolo Damiani, spoke only to confirm his details and deny both charges.

He was told that the case could not proceed further that day and that both cases would be adjourned for a trial to be held.

Mr. Hearn has meanwhile been released on conditional bail.
