Due to a growing population of kittens and adult cats, the Oshkosh Area Humane Society is looking for foster homes to take in some of the feline friends over the fall and winter.
“We continue to have kittens arriving almost daily,” said General Manager Jessica Miller.
The Humane Society is able to house around 150 cats and kittens, but during busier times the center may have many more than that and try to house them temporarily in foster homes.
Miller said: “The foster family volunteers who helped us over the summer are looking for a break, so we’re hoping we can recruit cat lovers into our community to help us get through the day. ‘fall.”
The shelter will provide all the materials needed for the placement, including food, beds, litter and litter boxes, dishes, medical care and training.
