With their updated statuses, they make Cat the second female rapper in history to have at least 2 studio efforts reach such a certification standard. before her, Nicki Minaj – the all-time female leader (with 3 multiPlatinum sets) – was the first on her 2014 LP “The Pink Footprint” left his mark on a double platinum plate in early 2016 and joined his 2010 effort previously certified 3x Platinum ‘Pink Friday.’ The release of Minaj in 2012, “Pink Friday: Novel Reloaded”, was also elevated to 2x Platinum in 2016.
It is worth noting that Missy Elliot kicked off the year by entering the RIAA history books as the first and only female rapper to own 6 Platinum-certified albums. However, at the time indicated, his only multi-platinum work is that of 2002 ‘In construction.’
