This sweet Aussie/Catahoula mix loves his squeaky toys, but this cat doesn’t like to be handled.

One of the pets presented this week for adoption at Erath County Humane Society is Blanca, an 11 month old Aussie Catahoula mix female.

“She can be shy when approached and usually crawls towards you with a cute little smile on her face,” said ECHS Executive Director Serena Wright. Below the Surface News.

“She’s as sweet as she can be around people and loves toys. She’ll usually wear a squeaky toy when she’s really excited or happy.

Blanca is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and house trained.

Gourd is a one-year-old male domestic shorthair.

“He’s a loving boy who’s very active. He likes to be petted, but doesn’t like to be picked up,” Serena said. “He tends to ‘like to bite’ when excited, but not hard enough to break skin and is probably best suited in a home with older children or as a friendly barn cat.
