One thing that has been difficult to understand in choosing a Cobb County Mail Cat of the Day on the Cobb Animal Shelter website is whether to focus on cute, happy kittens who are more likely to be adopted, or on sad, scared or shy kittens who may not have as much appeal, but need a loving home to not be scared and sad.
So I decided to split Dog of the Day and Cat of the Day into Happy and Sad categories for a total of four posts per day. When you look at kitten facial expressions, happiness or sadness is in the eye of the beholder, so your impression may be different. But this one looks excited and happy to me.
The Cobb County Courier’s Cat of the Day in the Happy Cat category, selected on the Cobb Animal Shelter website, is a domestic short-haired tabby. According to the shelter staff, his temperament is gentle.
She has not been named yet and will be eligible for adoption on December 13 (tomorrow).
The following information about this potential family member is copied and pasted from the animal shelters website. To see the original text visit this link to the catalog of animal shelters.
Remember that by adopting a pet you are bringing a new family member into your home, so only do this if you are looking for a forever feline partner.
